Doing Silly Sh*t Together
(inspired by GISH; and Misha Collins and a need to laugh in community)
What: a list of items to accomplish. A little craft, a little performance art, a little building. Something for everyone! If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to play human whack-a-mole, or recreate your parents’ or friends’ wedding photo, or compose a song about life’s little annoyances, this is for you!
Why: Because it is fun to do silly sh*t; and eleventy billion times more fun to do it with other silly people!
Where: Launch from Amity’s backyard & homebase from there, but build & create wherever.
When: July 31st, 7pm, Opening Ceremonies; ends August 9th at around 6pm
Who: Whoever wants to DSST!
How: There’s no registration for this; but it’s helpful if you let us know you want to participate (and to get the Opening Ceremony location. We’ll also have a Signal group for folks who want to join and post updates, share pics, etc.) Email me (info@dsst.ing) or message me on Bluesky, text if you have my cell! You can do this as a team or an individual. You also can pick and choose the items you want to do!
What you get: stories to tell, like “let me tell you about the time I built a sculpture out of Pez dispensers”, or “if I were going to design my own personal mascot, it would be a combination of an otter and a cat”, but mostly a lot of laughing, and maybe a little public humiliation.
